We’re pleased to announce the relaunch of Vendor Society by eCommerce Nurse. Formed specifically to support brands, manufacturers, and distributors on their Amazon journey, this unique destination caters solely to Amazon vendors. As a response to the continuing and changing needs of vendors, the eCommerce Nurse team of ex-Amazonians and experts has updated and expanded. We now have the ability to offer a fresh look, with more vendor-specific content, events, and networking opportunities exclusively for vendors.

As a result, we’re excited about the relaunch of the new and improved Vendor Society, a global community for Amazon vendors to discuss, learn, and connect.

Why Vendor Society?

Originally launched in 2017, the original Vendor Society was the brainchild of founder and CEO Carina McLeod. As an ex-Amazon vendor manager, Carina noticed there was a lot of information and help out there for Amazon sellers, but support for vendors was limited and often inconsistent. While some aspects of the seller and vendor experience are similar (for example, A+ Content or Amazon Advertising), others, like logistics and account management, are drastically different. Most agencies have no vendor expertise, but the vendor side is actually where eCommerce Nurse began!

As a vendor going into 2022, Amazon expects you to be self-sufficient and manage your own Vendor Central account with limited training and expertise. Even when Amazon has appointed a vendor manager or you have invested in an AVS, they’re spread thin and it’s still hard to access Amazon’s constantly changing information and best practices.

Vendor Society grew quickly to more than 200 active Amazon vendors and functioned as a networking and learning destination.

What is the new Vendor Society?

As a subsidiary of eCommerce Nurse, Vendor Society is a place for vendors to discuss, learn, and collaborate. We have relaunched with three event types especially for vendors: Interviews, Webinars, and Virtual Roundtables. Vendors can also always access our blog, with vendor-centered topics, such as dealing with chargebacks, best practices for A+ Content, Brand Registry benefits, and more. All content is currently free, easy to access, and always available.

“Vendors want to know what they need to do to grow their account profitably, reach their brand’s potential on Amazon, and compete with the emerging competition. At Vendor Society, the idea is to share tips, best practices and help with the ‘how’ and ‘why.’ It is not only about getting tips from the experts, it is about having a community of Amazon vendors to share experiences, both good and bad,” said CEO and founder Carina McLeod.

She added: “We are excited for the relaunch, we went quiet and vendors were still contacting us asking for the next event. We are back and we listened to previous feedback and hope you will enjoy what Vendor Society now has to offer.”
