eCommerce Nurse offers a variety of services to help you grow your business on Amazon around the globe. We are experienced in North America and Europe, and we are constantly growing. Our experience with a wide range of sellers and vendors led us to realize the importance of quality translation services. eCommerce Nurse is proud to offer certified, native translators to support your Amazon content needs — from listing optimization to A+ detail pages and Brand Stores.
The importance of excellent translation
If you aren’t selling your products internationally, odds are your competitors will be. Of course, selling in multiple locales requires robust content in the local language. To perform even better, content isn’t just translated straight across, but tailored to each country. Localizing content for multiple Amazon locales isn’t as simple as putting English text in a translator tool. Some agencies use translation services that do just that while expecting it to perform on par with the English content. But at eCommerce Nurse, we know the importance of thorough translation by native speakers. When we build customers’ trust and provide details relevant to the local market, they are more likely to purchase your product.
Our translation team
To streamline our processes and provide the best translation possible, we work with certified, native translators and support all EU and NA marketplaces: UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, USA, and Canada. In 2019, we added four translators to our team:
French: Silvia Kadiu started her career in publishing and joined Amazon in 2009. While working at Amazon, she completed an MA in Translation Studies at University College London. She was subsequently offered a Ph.D. at the same university and started working as a freelance translator in 2012. Since then, she has been translating general and specialized content for international organizations, translation agencies, and global brands.
German: Julia Landry was completing her MA in Translation Studies at the University of Leicester and began working for Amazon as a freelancer, providing manual translations for product attributes. This later developed into post-editing their machine-translated product listings and conducting quality checks by proofreading linguistic content from other translators. She also worked as a Business Development Executive and In-House Translator for an online retailer.
Spanish: Sara Romero Mira was originally from València, Spain, and received a degree in English before studying a Master’s degree in Applied Translation Studies in the UK. Since then, she’s worked as a freelance translator localizing websites, apps, and marketing content for multiple clients.
Italian: Marina Taffetani graduated in German and English from the University of Florence, and began working at a publishing house. In 2011, she took a position for Amazon at their European headquarters in Luxembourg as a Translation Editor. In 2013, she began freelancing as a technical translator and occasionally as an editor of non-fiction books.
