Visit the TikTok Shop Seller Center and select the world region from which you’re selling your products. Then click on “Sign up” if you don’t already have a TikTok account. You’ll need some business documents, such as your company registration certificate, personal ID and proof of address. Keep these documents handy.
As long as your product isn’t on TikTok’s list of prohibited products or unsupported products (including things like firearms, medicines, alcohol, baby food, etc.), you can list most items suitable for e-commerce on TikTok Shop. However, some restricted products have specific listing requirements, so it’s always best to review these documents to ensure your product will be suitable for TikTok Shop.
TikTok Shop charges zero set-up fees. There is a commission of 5% on all products, with an introductory commission of 1.8% for each product sale for the first 90 days.
TikTok Shop allows e-commerce integration solutions, enabling sellers to integrate platforms like Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce. Sellers can even manage their TikTok Shop directly from Shopify using the TikTok for Shopify App.
The TikTok Shop Seller Center has everything you need to manage orders and fulfilment. On the ‘Orders’ page in the main navigation bar, select ‘Manage Orders’. From there, you can filter orders, add notes to specific orders, print shipping labels and more.
TikTok Shop has a support team that sellers can contact to help resolve problems.
TikTok Shop offers reporting functions to monitor your listings and the performance of items. There is even a feature to monitor the ‘health’ of specific listings, providing tips on how to improve their performance. Campaign monitoring can be carried out through the main dashboard of the TikTok Ads Manager, which provides comprehensive analytics on campaign performance.
There are two ways to collaborate with Content Creators on TikTok Shop: through the TikTok Shop Product Marketplace or via the Affiliate Center. Sellers can add their product to the Product Marketplace to enable discovery by Content Creators, or they can make direct contact with Content Creators in the Affiliate Center.

For general influencer marketing, TikTok offers a Creator Marketplace where brands can search, negotiate and hire influencers for product promotions. Video authorisation and payments can also be arranged via the Creator Marketplace.
